National Image is committed to disseminating the most current information to the Hispanic community. A successful vehicle for this is the National Image Annual Conference. This conference is an excellent opportunity for thousands of Hispanics to network. The annual conference provides exhibit space for government agencies and private businesses to reach the community, a forum for speakers on topics of interest, and a job fair to inform the community about employment opportunities.

Clara takes her job as director very seriously and encourages all members of her family and the community in Springfield to participate in National Image Functions. She is also an active participant in the defense of Civil Rights for all Hispanics in Central Illinois. She and past Director Victor Juarez have gone to Beardstown, Illinois and helped immigrants avail themselves of the local and federal authorities to defend civil rights violations by the Ku Klux Klan. Clara is looking forward to work with all Board members in enhancing educational opportunities for all Hispanics. Return to Board of Directors
