Each local chapter supports the national objectives of:

The local chapters also serve as the foundation from which the national organization gains the strength and integrity to speak for Hispanics nationwide.
The local chapters are a strong voice for Hispanics at the community level. They are in the best position to provide information and assistance tailored to each community. Because local chapters are in touch with the demographics and unique cultural values of their communities, they can most effectively and quickly respond to the rapidly changing needs of Hispanics today.
The national office adds its strength to the local chapters by providing support in developing programs at the local level as they are needed.
